More Info about Volunteering:
Boardwalk Comic Con is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this year’s event the best one yet! We’re looking for individuals willing to contribute their time, talent, and expertise to gain behind-the-scenes access to the convention and connect with other volunteers who share a passion for comics, anime, and pop culture.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available. While some roles require specific skills or experience, many only require enthusiasm, dedication, trust, and creativity. If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please complete the Volunteer Form and submit it as soon as possible. Early submissions increase your chances of being selected for this year’s event.
For additional information about volunteering, either before or after the convention, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@boardwalkcomiccon.com.
To qualify for free admission to Boardwalk Comic Con, volunteers must contribute a minimum of six (6) hours over the weekend. Volunteers will also receive a free Boardwalk Comic Con volunteer t-shirt. Each volunteer must check in and out with their department director or the Volunteer Coordinator daily to log hours. Single-day admission wristbands will be provided each day based on hours worked. Once six (6) hours are completed, volunteers can return to the Volunteer Desk to receive their weekend pass and any additional perks provided by staff, if applicable.
No task is too small or unappreciated. As a volunteer, you agree to the following:
- Submit a completed Volunteer Form.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Wear the volunteer team t-shirt only during your scheduled shifts.
- Most roles are easy to learn and do not require prior experience. Volunteers assist in various areas, including staffing support, special events, registration, errands, and other assigned duties. No manual labor is required.
- Help maintain a safe and healthy environment. Refrain from any behavior that may create danger or discomfort for others, including the use of illegal drugs, alcohol consumption, physical assault, or any unsafe acts. Report any inappropriate behavior or safety concerns to Boardwalk Comic Con staff or security.
If you would like to volunteer at the 2025 Boardwalk Comic Con, please complete the Volunteer Form. For any further questions, feel free to contact us at volunteer@boardwalkcomiccon.com.
